5,000 Custom Advertising Umbrellas Shipped to a French Client
A look at how a 5,000-piece promotional umbrella order moves from approved artwork to strapped cartons, ready for export from Ningbo.
Dispatched
When a French distributor came to us with a single promotional design and a firm event date, the job was less about engineering and more about predictable execution: lock the artwork, prove it with a sample, then run 5,000 units without surprises. Here is how the order came together.
Numbers that mattered
How the order moved
Client branding, Pantone-matched panels and logo placement were proofed and signed off before any steel was cut.
A physical sample was shipped for approval — usually 7–10 days — so colour and print were confirmed, not assumed.
Frames, canopies, screen printing and assembly ran on a single line for consistent colour across all 5,000 units.
Every carton was inspected, strapped and labelled; the photo set above shows the final packed state.
Goods were consolidated and loaded for FOB Ningbo, bound for the client's European hub.

What made this order smooth
Beyond the umbrellas themselves, the parts that keep distributors reordering are the boring ones:
No mass run starts until the physical sample is approved — colour and print are proven, not promised.
One workflow from cutting to packing, so pricing and lead times stay realistic.
Documented QC at each stage, with carton-level traceability for export.
